Just for fun

Lily's hair has been getting out of control. It is at that point where it is too short to stay pulled up and it is just silly looking when it's down. I tried curling it to see if it would work. It didn't work out too well but I thought I would try it again on Sunday. It still didn't work very well but she was still adorable. It was her idea to jazz things up with some pink pearls and insisted on wearing them to church. At least they matched her dress.

Today was finally a warm day. It has been raining for a while and I was getting sick of it. We decided to plant flowers in the little planter boxes that were just sitting on our porch. Thanks Sara for the gardening kit you gave Lily for her birthday and thanks Lily for letting me borrow it. It came in handy. Lily enjoyed being outside. She mostly just ate the dirt but at least she had fun doing it.

Eating dirt is the BEST when you're that age...way to go Lily!

I love that you put curlers in her hair. She looks so cute! I love that dress, and the beads seal the deal! She has good taste!

You both look terrific. Glad to see you getting outside and enjoying the weather. Flowers? Dad would be so impressed!

I can't believe Lily is patient enough for curlers. That's amazing. So is both of your cuteness.

Lily is so cute and growing up fast. I loved the curlers. Her dress was cute and the beads were perfect. It looks like you sent the rain here to us. Today is raining (Wednesday May 21st.) But we did have some really nice warm weather this past week. I enjoyed every minute of it. I haven't been very good at updating my blog yet, but I will. Keep up the good work.

I love that hair. I have to admit I'm a little jealous...I look at Jack's hair and think about all the fun things I would do if he was a girl. I've already done some things Matt is not ok with...but I haven't reached for the curlers. I'll live vicariously through you with that one. Can't wait to see you all this summer.

I tried putting Charlee's hair in rollers one night and she ripped them all out before the morning. She is so cute.
